Director of Communications
Chris Barry has been with SRA for over 10 years. He has pursued clarity in communications his whole life with strategic thinking at the forefront. At SRA, Chris has been involved in the many facets of communications from marcomm program development, media relations and PR campaign development to website content writing and editing to social media planning and execution.
A strong writer and editor, Chris has honed his communications skills through immersion in a variety of industries and communications styles. Before joining SRA, Chris was editor for the trade publication Food & Drug Packaging magazine, focusing on writing and editing articles on packaging technologies and processes. After graduating from Aurora University with a B.A. in Writing and Language, he did a stint as features writer for the Press Publications newspaper group in the Chicago suburbs.
Chris is a self-professed audiophile and rabid vinyl album collector, boasting over 1,000 records in his collection, which takes up more than half his basement. Editing his collection of LPs is not an option.
