Bonnie heads up the Kellen “Toolbelt Team” so named because she has spent a career creating and implementing strategic marketing communications programs for corporations and associations related to the home, interior design, construction and building products. Her experience ranges from launching consumer labels for the hardware and the window coverings industries to crisis management issues in down and feather bedding.

Bonnie’s 25+ years in corporate communications includes launching sub-brands for DesignTex, a division of Steelcase; developing and promoting licensing agreements for designer fabric and wallcovering firms for Katzenbach & Warren, Stroheim & Roman and E. Gaspard & Associates; designing trade show booths for Henkel; developing a thought leadership program for Intertek; and a disaster-related media outreach effort for Insurance Auto Auctions.

Her master’s degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and undergraduate degrees in English Literature and Political Science do not explain why she took a foray into finance halfway through her career. However, her five years of being a financial advisor for American Express and Metlife have broadened her expertise into the financial arena, too.
