Position the International Copper Association (ICA) as the leading voice of the copper industry and dispel mistruths and inaccurate information that were flooding the media landscape.
Collaborated with ICA to host a media and analyst workshop that would present current, factual and compelling data related to the state of global copper demand. The event took place the day before LME Week in London to align ICA with one of the leading industry events worldwide.
Hosted 15 reporters, 35 analysts and various members of the copper industry in London. Secured feature stories in Reuters, Metal Bulletin, Times of India, Economic Times, Commodities Now, and International Mining among others.
Parlayed the success of the London workshop into a yearlong program which included an aggressive media relations campaign, and a follow-up workshop in London to further spotlight ICA subject matter experts. The initiative provided additional ICA stories among top media such as Bloomberg, Financial Times, Reuters, CNBC.com, Forbes, and the leading metal and mining media.
